Testimonials

  • "I was recommended to Wayfaring by a close friend who also deals with lower back pain, and I’m so glad I went. Scheduling was very easy, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. I was able to get in with Chris, and he was extremely knowledgeable and communicative. He did an amazing job explaining the processes and techniques he was using, and he provided helpful advice and recommendations for aftercare before my next appointment. Highly recommend!!"

  • "I am 74 yrs oId and have been receiving monthly massage treatments by Erica now for over five years now I believe. I can't say enough good things about her professionalism, knowledge and performance of her techniques. I find her to be a real healer of body and spirit. She helped get me rehabilitated after two shoulder replacement surgeries ! P.s. FYI : I find she has an awesome eclectic Playlist as background music with relaxing massage if you like and the hot moist towels are fabulous !"

  • “For the last year, I had been having lower back pain every morning. It got to the point that if I started the day being on my feet, I would have to sit down after about an hour because the pain was so bad. When none of the self-help regimens seemed to work, my wife recommended that I go see Cori for his structural bodywork/Neuro-muscular therapy massages. The only thing I regret is not going to see him sooner! After the first session, I could already feel a difference in my body. I've now been going to Cori for a couple months and my back pain is essentially non-existent. Just the other day, I realized that I hadn't woken up with back pain in over a week and that I can be on my feet all morning without any pain. And when your farm depends on you day in and day out, having the ability to get things done is priceless! Go see Cori. I can guarantee that the only regret you'll have is that you didn't do it sooner.”

  • “From the moment I first entered Wayfaring Massage and Wellness, I felt welcomed and cared for. I'd been diagnosed with "frozen shoulder," and couldn't even lie facedown on the massage table. Erica listened to my concerns, and adjusted her approach accordingly. I am now able to move my shoulder with relative ease, and continue to see her - each time leaving with a unique sense of both relaxation and energy. I can't say enough about how fortunate we are to have Wayfaring Massage and Wellness, Cori and Erica here in Hawkins County; Wayfaring is truly an oasis.”

  • “TN is so lucky (in my opinion) to have Wayfaring Massage & Wellness! While out of full transparency I have not been to this location I have worked alongside and had work from both Erica and Cori over the course of several years. As a massage therapists myself I tend to be very picky with my body work and these two are a great reflection of all the tools and modalities this industry has to offer! They have both been in this industry before it was even widely popular and excepted which to me speaks to the true love they share of the body, mind and spirit. Whether you are looking for structural work, relaxation or energy work you can find it with them. I personally recommend seeing them both and you just might find you go back and forth on who you see for different needs that come up for you! Our industry is changing a lot right now with many corporate options available and while I love that massage is more accessible to more people and I am not saying anything bad about therapists who may choose or have to work at chains I will tell you one thing I have learned in my 23 years as a therapist is that therapists who are invested in themselves will be more invested in you!!!!! So excited for the new location too! “

  • “If you are ever needing a massage but are nervous about going I definitely recommend going to see Erica and Cori!!! They always ask how your body is feeling, making sure you’re comfortable the entire time, and always make you feel like you’re at home! After my first appointment with Erica I never felt shy coming here since! She knows my sensitive spots and is very caring and gentle! I always leave feeling like a new person! I will never go anywhere else! Everyone is so friendly! The place is always clean and smells so nice! They play relaxing music during your massage and it’s like heaven on earth! 1000000/10 recommend!”

  • I have had problems with my neck for many years. I went to Knoxville Orthopedics and had five surgical procedures and did not get any relief. A friend told me about Wayfaring Massage and said that Cori really helped her. I knew that i would not go back in surgery again and I thought that I would give massage a try. I can’t say enough good things about Cori and the relief that he has given me. He is very knowledgeable and explains everything he is doing and how it’s going to help. He also gives you exercises that you can do at home. If you have an injury that you are dealing with or just need to pamper yourself, I highly recommend giving Wayfaring Massage a try.
